Who we are
UK Discovered
was founded in August 2000 by Cara Talbot. Also involved from the
ground
up of another successful and multilingual .com startup based in London,
Cara realized the
opportunity of connecting travellers with relevant businesses in the UK
and has conceptualized
the global reaching business and servicing opportunities of UK Discovered.
With a fervent belief
in UK Discovered's proposition, Cara has a practical and realistic insight
into the profitable
possibilities as well as the limitations of servicing as a connector between
travellers to the business
community in the UK.
UK Discovered's
head office is in London, with advisors and contributors based primarily
in Australia,
New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK.
Our
team
UK Discovered's
team is made up of a select group of industry professionals who are committed
to the
traveller and related UK business sectors; and between them bring a wealth
of strategic and operational experience from their various specialist
roles from within the Business Development, Market Research,
Finance, eCommerce and IT sectors.

The idea for
the logo was envisioned by Cara Talbot, the company founder, and
was designed to encompass a feeling of UK welcome for New Zealand,
Australian and South African travellers to the UK.
