For lover's of the arts and history - you could spend every weekend of the year
visiting a different Museum and Gallery in London and not keep up with the changing
displays on offer.  

Rich in diversity with Museums stuffed full of old and new world treasures, and galleries
holding work from many of the greatest artists of our time, there is something to interest
everyone.

Keep your eye out in the local newspapers and TNT magazine for special displays from around
the world - and if you're short of a pound, ring ahead to your museum or gallery of choice, as many
offer a free entry on a specific morning or afternoon - generally during the week.

The new Tate Modern is also now open to the public, and abounds with huge modern sculptures
and other pieces.  Take a stroll along the banks of the Thames to where this new gallery is situated,
spend a few hours wandering the spacious halls, before heading to have lunch or a pint on one of
the many restaurant barges moored along it's banks.
