May
be required to facilitate the issue of visas by Embassies for certain
countries (Arab,
South American and African). Check with the Embassy of the country
you are intending to
visit to see what the up-to-date visa requirements are before approaching
the New Zealand
Consular Office at the New Zealand High Commission.
Once
you have ascertained what the visa requirements are, and if a Letter
of Introduction is
required, call at the New Zealand Consular Office on the second floor
of New Zealand House between
10.00 am & 12.00 noon or 2.00 pm & 4.00 pm with your passport and
£7.00. A Letter of Introduction
will take two to three days to process.
Marriage
There
are no special requirements to marry in the UK other than to simply
comply with the local laws and
regulations. Registrars, vicars and priests can advise you accordingly.
It is not usual to need any
special documentation from New Zealand other than, perhaps, your birth
certificate. To marry in other
foreign countries may require various documentation, including a document
from the NZ
Registrar-General called a Certificate of No Impediment.
