who have lost their passports or had them stolen should apply for
a new passport
in person. Click
here for more information. You will need to complete Form
PC2, "Report
of Loss/Theft of an Australian Travel Document" (if you do not intend
to apply for a
replacement) and forward to the Australian High Commission in London
at the earliest opportunity.

Issue
of a Second Passport
If
travel is proposed to a country listed in column 1 below and the
applicant's current passport contains
evidence of travel to or residence in a country listed in column
2, a second passport may be issued.
Approval to hold a second passport may also be given to persons
who can show a legitimate business
or employment reason for holding two valid passports, e.g. to permit
travel at times when the original
passport is held by a Foreign Consular Office for the issue of a
visa.

Approval
to hold two Australian passports must be given by an Authorised
Officer.
The normal fee is charged for the cost of the second passport. You
